La Jolla GU12 All-Stars Blue team, coached by Joe Montoya and Kathleen Ritzman, found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the Poway Shootout tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. Although the girls ended the tournament 1-2, they played really well in the rain and mud, and were rewarded with rainbow on Saturday and lots of warm sunshine and a 3-0 win on Sunday. They are now gearing up for the upcoming La Jolla All-Stars Tournament.
