The BU8 team moved up to the Blue bracket for the Presidio Cup, so it was a whole new ballgame for the boys.

On Saturday, the only game was with Carlsbad Lightening.  Impact played a strong game and came out on top, 6:2.  Lightening finished at the top of their Red North division in league play, only losing one game on the season.

On Sunday, we were unfortunate to miss Evan "Golden Feet", who came down with an unfortunate case of the stomach flu.  We missed you out there, Evan and knew that you would prefer being wit the team, rather than feelin lousy.  Get better soon! 

The second game of the tournament was against Surf.  Surf finished 3rd in the top Blue bracket of league play, and we were really pleased that our Impact team held their own.  We led for the majority of the game, but 2 late goals were too much to overcome, and we lost in the end 2:1. 

The last game of the tournament was against CV Manchester.  It was another tight match.  We were down by 2 goals, and were able to come back to score one, losing by a final score of 2:1. 

The boys played great all weekend, really holding their own against 3 really tough teams.  All 3 teams were well matched, with even records going into the 3rd and final match of the tournament.   Well done Impact!
