Oct 12: Impact vs CV Rangers White
Game #2 vs the CV Rangers. The boys controlled the pace of this game from the starting whistle. Derek started as keeper and only touched the ball a couple of times. Nearly the entire game was spent in the offensive side of the field. Goals were spread around today (Need to get counts from Savonia).
Right after coach made a keeper switch, there was an unfortunate penalty, which gave the Rangers a penatly kick. Thanks to the goalie wars Coach has been running after practice, Mitch was ready. He blocked the kick! Daniel closed out the keep position, keeping the net clean for the rest of the game.
One of the most impressive things of this game, was the passing shown by the entire team. Everyone was comfortable moving the ball around. There was also great communication between the players. Well done, Impact!
